💲 How is the price determined? Is it hourly or fixed?

At Cleanonika, we value simplicity and transparency. The cost depends on the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, total area, selected add-ons, and cleaning frequency. We offer thoughtfully designed packages with fixed pricing. In rare cases, if the level of dirtiness turns out to be higher than expected, the cost may be adjusted — but only after prior approval from you.

We also offer flexible pricing assessment options:

  1. Free in-person estimate — our specialist visits your home, evaluates the space and your preferences, and confirms the price before the cleaning begins. This is the most accurate and reliable pricing method.

  2. Photo-based estimate — if it’s more convenient for you, send us photos of your space. We’ll provide a preliminary remote estimate.

  3. Estimate based on room count and square footage — a quick way to receive a base estimate. The final price can be adjusted after a visit or upon clarifying additional details.

Our goal is to make the entire process as clear, honest, and comfortable as possible.

📝 Do I need to prepare anything before the cleaners arrive?

To help us clean as efficiently and delicately as possible, we recommend a few simple steps:

  1. Light tidying helps everything go smoothly
    We’re always careful with your belongings. To avoid moving important items like remote controls, glasses, or frequently used items, we recommend doing a light organization in advance.
    This helps maintain order and saves you from searching for things after the cleaning.

  2. Preparing beds with fresh linens
    If you’d like us to change the bedding, please leave a clean sheet set on each bed.
    If we need to retrieve it from the closet, simply let us know in advance and provide permission to open it.

  3. Wall-mounted mirrors
    We clean mirrors in all rooms. For safety, please make sure they are securely mounted to prevent any accidents.

 

🐾 Do I need to do anything about pets during the cleaning?

Our team works respectfully and professionally in homes with pets. Usually, no special action is required.

If your pet has specific needs or behavioral traits we should know about, we’ll be grateful if you share this with us in advance.

🔑 Do I need to be home during the cleaning? What about key access?

You’re welcome to stay home if you’d like, but your presence is not required. We will follow your preferences.

Many clients choose to provide access via key, keypad code, garage code, or lockbox code.

You can hand us a key during the first visit. If your home has an alarm system, you may assign us a unique code.

In apartment complexes with a front desk, we typically register and check out a key in accordance with building policy.

We always try to respond quickly. If our schedule allows, same-day cleaning is possible.

🧴 Do you bring your own cleaning products and equipment?

Yes, we arrive fully equipped. However, if you have preferred products, we’ll gladly use them upon request.

🔄 Can I cancel or reschedule?

Of course! We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice. Late cancellations may incur a fee, but we strive to be flexible.

🧺 Do you offer laundry service?

Yes, we can include laundry service with your cleaning. A 3-hour minimum applies. Please let us know in advance if you'd like to add this option.

🪟 Do you clean windows?

Yes, we offer professional window cleaning. This service is billed separately. Please let us know in advance if you'd like to include it with your appointment.

🧼 What’s the difference between deep cleaning and regular cleaning?

Regular cleaning includes maintenance of common areas — floors, bathrooms, kitchens, and visible surfaces. Deep cleaning involves detailed attention to hard-to-reach areas, baseboards, tile grout, behind furniture, and more.

We recommend starting with a deep clean, especially for first-time visits or if the home hasn’t been cleaned in a while.

⏱️ How long does a cleaning take?

Cleaning duration depends on the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, shared spaces, the level of dirt, presence of pets, and additional services requested.

For standard cleaning, average times are:

  • Studio or 1-bedroom — 1–1.5 hours

  • 2–3 bedrooms — 1.5–2.5 hours

  • 4+ bedrooms — 3–5 hours

Please note: the first standard cleaning often takes longer than follow-up visits, especially if cleaning hasn’t been performed recently.

Deep cleaning typically takes longer due to detailed surface care. Exact timing is confirmed after an estimate.

♻️ Do you use eco-friendly products?

Yes, we use hypoallergenic, non-toxic products upon request — ideal for families with children or those with sensitivities. There is no extra charge.

If you prefer we use your own products, we’re happy to accommodate. Just let us know in advance.

➕ What additional services do you offer?

You can enhance your cleaning package with the following:

  • Inside oven cleaning

  • Inside fridge cleaning

  • Deep cleaning and organization of kitchen cabinets (inside & out)

  • Deep tile and grout cleaning (for heavily soiled bathrooms)

  • Spot cleaning of carpets & upholstery with professional equipment

  • Interior and exterior window cleaning

  • Folding and organizing laundry or bed linens (for large volumes)

Each of these services should be requested in advance. Simply indicate your preferences in the booking form or during the estimate.

👟 Do cleaners remove their shoes?

For safety reasons, our cleaners are required to wear shoes while working. However, they always carry a clean pair of indoor-only footwear. If you prefer, we can also use disposable shoe covers.

Please let us know your preference in advance — we’ll be happy to accommodate.

👩‍👩‍👧 Will the same team clean my home each time?

Whenever possible, yes. We do our best to assign the same trusted team for repeat appointments. If a change is necessary, we’ll notify you in advance.
